Rehabilitation Services

So much can be done to help those recovering from illness or surgery, whether old or young, to regain strength and return to a full, independent life. Woodbriar dedicates more space to rehabilitation and physical therapy than any other nursing care center in Massachusetts. To this end, we offer:

• State-of-the-art rehabilitation center with the latest exercise equipment
  
  
• Hand and ankle weights, parallel bars, stationary bike, standing table and treadmill.
  
  
• Three rehabilitation gyms
  
  
• A fully equipped therapeutic kitchen
  
  
• A staff of full-time therapists, dedicated to restoring health and well being of those they serve

We offer individualized, one-on-one rehabilitation treatment. Our multidisciplinary teams, consisting of the resident's nurse, physical therapist, occupational therapist, social worker and physician, prepare a treatment and therapy plan for each participant. Families are encouraged to become involved in this process.

A rehabilitation program may last for a few days or a few weeks, after which patients return home.

In surveys conducted by an independent research organization, rehabilitation clients have routinely reported extraordinarily high rates of satisfaction with Woodbriar.
